I thank God for Heritage and my pastors.  My family and I have been in attendance for four years and we have grown spiritually.  I attribute that first to God’s grace, but secondly to the sound teaching we receive.  I like that we are not separated as a family, either.  I think the last place a family should be separated is at church.  Also, my pastors are not just my pastors, they’re my friends, that I enjoy spending time with doing all sorts of things outside of church.  I’ve learned a lot by watching Pastor Barton and Pastor Taylor, how they live out what they preach and teach.  I thank God for them and their families and just the example they are to me and my family.

My family and I have been at Heritage for four years now, and what a blessing it has been!  Our pastors not only preach and teach God’s Word, they faithfully live it out before us.  Pastor Barton and Pastor Taylor, along with their wives, truly care about and love the people of our church and have been a definite example of laying down their lives for this flock.

Another blessing we have experienced has been our family staying together for the main service and family school.  We came from a church where everyone went their separate ways when we walked through  the doors and we weren’t together again until about 3 hours later when we were going home.  So, staying together as a family has been a wonderful change and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

What a blessing Heritage Baptist Church has been to my family! Pastor Barton and Pastor Taylor are the greatest pastors I‘ve ever had. They faithfully study God’s Word, and teach it to us through sound preaching and godly counsel. Just to watch their lives, is to see God’s grace in action. They consistently model love, joy, and holiness to our church body, and help us to a closer walk with God. I’ve never known a church with more sacrificial, loving pastors, and whose people love God and one another more than at Heritage. This is what a church is meant to be, and I praise the Lord for bringing my family to this place. We are so blessed!

Our family has been blessed by being a part of Heritage Baptist Church! Pastor Barton and Pastor Taylor have been used of the Lord to teach us through their preaching and teaching, and the example they are of the difference a personal, life-shaping relationship with God makes. The people we have gotten to know here seek to be separate from the world in their lifestyle, but are reaching out to those in the world who need to know the Lord. They serve God in a cheerful, whole-hearted way! We have been shown love, support and acceptance as our young son was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome, a neurological disorder that causes him to make invountary sounds and movements. He is not considered a distraction in church services, but is fully welcomed and included. Our family has also been greatly ministered to during a time of long-term illness with the ongoing prayers and practical help of our brothers and sisters here. We know there are many people in the area without a church home who would benefit from the ministry of Heritage and could be used of God here to be a blessing to others, too!
