Our Strategy

We desire by God’s grace to be …

1. A Church that Pursues Christ-Centered Living
We desire to keep our focus on abiding in Christ through our walk with God and daily testimony of faith. Our priority is to live in genuine revival, and we seek to make disciples who love God and walk with God (Mt. 6:33; Lk. 9:23). To do this, we must have …

2. A Church that Practices Proactive Accountability
We must love each other enough to encourage one another in the walk of faith through humble encouragement, confrontation, and even discipline. Accountability goes beyond establishing consequences for violation of certain principles and policies and builds a “family” relationship that helps prevent straying in the first place (Matt. 18; Gal. 6:1-2; Eph. 5:11). To accomplish this in a spirit of humility and love, we must have …

3. A Church that Embodies Genuine Fellowship
We must love and care for others more than ourselves by being open, honest, transparent, and vulnerable. Working diligently at achieving intimacy within the family of God brings unity and strength. We must rely on one another, trust one another, and encourage one another (Jn. 13:34; Acts 2:42; Rom. 12:10; 15:14; Eph. 4:32; I Thes. 4:18; Heb. 10:24; I Jn. 1:3). We believe that the best way to accomplish this is through …

4. A Church that is Family Structured
Since the family is God’s basic organization for ministry, we seek to minister to families through families, the building blocks of the church. Rather than segregating according to age, we teach families to minister as a family and help parents train their children. Our families vary from singles to those with young children, grown children, or no children at all. We minister to all and encourage all to build a heritage for God (Dt. 6; Prov. 22:6; Mt. 19:14; Mk. 7:27; 9:37; Col.3:20; Tit. 2:4). And last, we believe in holiness and therefore desire …

5. A Church that has Well-Articulated Standards
Scripture is our benchmark for living. In this day of vagueness, the church of Jesus Christ must know what it believes. Our standards must be specific and based upon what the Bible says, and we must communicate how we apply these truths in daily living.

Clearly taught standards foster unity. Our goal is not to produce clones but unique servants of God who agree with the truth of God’s Word and its application in life and culture. (II Tim. 4:2-5; Tit. 2)

We believe these principles are the will of God for this church and can be taught, modeled by leadership, and encouraged with well-designed ministry.
